Good points:
Nice and slick and pretty qucik for browsing.
Bad points:
Not rerally any, if I had to make one it would be when the protective case is used it is not so easy to have all side ports (baterry point/usb/hdmi/sound) showing. I suppose that is the covers problem.

Good points:
Great processing power, iPad like performance. Good size. Can run 3D games well. Great connectivity options, without need for extra adaptors (unlike some high priced tabs out there)
Bad points:
More expensive than similar tablets on the market. Very poor wifi on both first tablet and replacement - range bad and connection speed degrades to 5mbps after a couple of minutes connected, even though I was sat right next to the router (never saw the 150mbps capability that is advertised). Pretty useless seeing as a tablet should be mobile. Only 512MB of the 16GB is partitioned for the OS and app installs - not enough when App2SD can't move most of the big apps to SD.

Score 4.0/10
Good points:
Attractive appearance with quality brushed aluminium rear and glass front, and better performance with the dual core processor than previous yarvik GTab Zetta products. This model also has bluetooth and good connectivity (micro B type USB ports for slave and host modes, micro SD slot, 3.5 mm headset, HDMI).
Skype app works well for video calls. Good battery life - I got around 6 hours with first (but light) use from full charge.
Bad points:
Poor memory management/partitioning means that there is only 500MB available for apps, despite the product having 1GB installed DDR3 RAM and 16GB internal SD. Mainly for this reason I have marked down the design and overall score. You can quickly run out of memory if you try and download lots of apps, which could be a big issue for some users. The BBC iplayer app does not work although you can successfully use iPlayer via the browser app.
I couldn't get my excellent Canaon Ixus 100is camera to connect directly to the tablet via its USB, so could only transfer photos to it using my laptop with the tablet in slave mode. I suspect it might perform similarly with other digital cameras. You can of course use an external micro SD card to load your media files onto the tablet but my 32gb class 4 card performs very slowly and I found the tablet read delay very frustrating.
It's now cheaper than when I purchased this tablet, however there is an even bigger saving to be made if you buy the Sumvision Titan tablet PC which appears to have identical specification.
Display resolution is ok, but the brightness is poor meaning you cannot view it outside, especially in sunlight. Certainly nothing like the performance of an iPad2 screen. Internal mono loudspeaker is very poor indeed, even at maximum volume it seems hardly audible. Using the headphone jack plugged into an external LS like a Kitsound Uno works reasonably well but output level is still low, and anyway it isn't very convenient to carry around an external loudspdeaker.
Comes with Android 4.0, and it would be better if the tablet had been installed with 4.1 'jelly bean' , and I don't know whether it can be flashed/upgraded at a later date.
Overall I would advise a prospective buyer to wait for a Nexus 10" if/when it arrives on the marketplace.
I'm not a great advocate for tablets as they are certainly NOT substitutes for a good laptop. Most 'apps' don't have the power or flexiblity of traditional PC applications as they are really designed for smart phones. Tablets score best for simple email, web browsing, and convenient viewing photos.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
The processors good which is android certified and comes with usb leads. The kids love playing Angry Bird. Yarvik have a forum where you can get help, such as how to reset system. This is powerful enough to run another Linux OS like Ubuntu, I have not tired it yet. This large range of ports. Two year warranty and UK charger. I think this is a great tablet.
Bad points:
There are issues like iplayer app. but that is more to do with software development and how Android matures. There is no 3g or GPS, so you can't use as a navigator, but that is a plus prevents data snooping. It has glitched up, once screen flicker and another it did not switch on when I had ran the battery really low, but I did soft reset which solved it. Using the tablet is very addictive you can lose a day just like that. The Wifi could be better, the single drops around 6-7 m, but a more powerful wifi eats into battery life. I wish the ports had some sort of cover to stop dirt. I don't know exact screen size so it going to be awkward replacing screen protector, I think it is a standard size 9.7" screen with 4:3 ratio, wider than ipad3. When contected to TV via hdmi it gets hot, probably need a cooler but that is my main worry, over heating. Battery life could be better, but you can use it around 4-6 hours, blue tooth and hdmi port will eat into battery life, so switch them off. In direct sunlight it is hard to view the screen, but no plroblems indoor.
