Score 10.0/10
Good points:
Ordered The Black edition 7970 DD with ghost thermal on the friday and had it delivered at 7.30 the very next day...

It comes tightly packed in a huge box, i have to say on taking out the card it is gorgeous,
theee best looking card on the market, no arguments. It's heavy and you know just right about then you have made the right choice. It comes with all the instructions, and a great looking
case badge that i swiftly stuck onto my Phantom full Gaming tower.

The card is long, but not much longer than the GTX 460 it replaced and had no problems fitting it into my case, i used a Hdmi i had laying around, installed the latest catalyst
drivers and then banged on The new Tomb Raider game, stuck the settings up to ultimate and started playing, the game ran just fine, noth sure what FPS i was getting
But it was defientely playable, i'd say around the 30 frames mark then fiddling around with the settings, (tress fx disabled, but triple buffering V-Sync enabled) i got a steady
frame rate of 60fps on ultra. Later on using the game benchmark it seems i was getting 25fps on ultimate.

This card is amazing, although im using a 1080p monitor, this card is not over kill. It does exactly what you want it to do, play games at a very high graphics setting.

Bf 3 on ultra, no problem. V-Sync disabled, 70-140 fps using the in game Fps calculator (you need a quad core processor to achiveve this though)
Crysis 3 although playable on the highest setting, i knocked the setting down to high for a smoother experience.

Came with 2 games via a download code, Bioshock Infinite and Crysis 3. So you got at least £70 of free gaming right off the bat.

It can be overclocked, but i dont do things like this, not sure if the voltage is locked but in the AMD catalyst control centre via the overdrive system, you can up
the card to 1125mhz originaly 1000mhz, its all there, explained above. In the description :)

The cards fans although great looking with the brushed metal trim, are excepionally loud if the cards fans are turned up, i mean really loud, almost as loud as an original xbox360.
It stays very cool though and with the default setting, 29 degrees at idle and going up to around 65 degrees when underload. Unless you change the fan speed manually to say over 40 percent
the fans creep in louder. But on the default settings where the card may only get to around the 30 percent on the fan, you cant hear it.

A gorgeous bad boy card this one, the improvement in games is astonishing.

2k and 4k ready. Just hope the monitors come down in price. One day i'll crossfire these cards and go with a 3 monitor setup, wife permitting!!!

amazing performance, runs games perfectly.

BF 3 ultra settings 70-140fps
Bioshock infinite ultra 40-90fps
Crysis 3 Very high 40-60fps

Arron,

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Incredibly fast, maxes any game with ease, Crysis 3 looks great and it handles Skyrim running 100+ mods with a very heavy ENB easily.
Three free games (Crysis 3, Bioshock Infinate & Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon
3BG of VRAM great for multi-monitors
Bad points:
The free games are all on different digital distribution services, Origin, UPlay and Steam, respectively.
It gets really warm when in demanding applications (Inside an NZXT Phantom)
When its warm, the fans are quite noisy
If you're after value for money, try a 7870
