Manufacturer's Description

New Max 38 Microwave: For a Smarter Way to Cook, Think Round

A Trendy Designer Microwave that Saves Worktop Space

A compact microwave with a large capacity – there’s a place for the Max 38 in any home. Click here for a larger version.
Mini outside, maxi inside; the new Max 38 from Whirlpool is truly a unique microwave oven. The clever ‘round back’ design enables it to fit in corners and save space on the worktop, making it ideal for both busy family kitchens and city living alike. Inside, the spacious cavity has a usable space equivalent to a much larger 23 litre model, and a big turntable that will hold a large 28cm plate, allowing you to cook the same amount of food as some larger models without taking up nearly as much room. The new Max 38 also features a stylish flat screen door for maximum visual impact and easy cleaning. Available in a silver or black finish, it also comes with a smart electronic user interface.

Think Outside The Box. Think Round.

Intelligent curved designs aren’t only to be found in a designer’s studio, they can now also be found in your kitchen. The new Max 38 microwave oven by Whirlpool is a perfect example of how curves can make life better – by giving you the flexibility and space to arrange your worktop to suit your needs.

‘Max’ Design

By utilising the unique ‘curved’ shape, the Max 38 can fit in kitchen corners, between appliances, against cupboards – anywhere that saves you space on the worktop. Not only that, the curve allows for a big turntable (28cm).

Contemporary Look and Feel

The front of the microwave is designed to complement the innovative back. The stylish flat screen door is made from dark glass for maximum visual impact, and makes it easier to clean by reducing the gaps where dirt accumulates.

Small Outside, Big Inside

By eliminating any wasted space inside the microwave, you’re able to cook larger food items in a surprisingly compact unit.

Large Turntable

Inside, the curved design gives you a usable space equivalent to a much larger 23 litre microwave model. The large turntable is the reason – by eliminating the wasted space around it, we’ve been able to include a big 28cm plate, suitable for larger food items and cookware. What’s more, it’s now easier to place and remove plates and dishes with the Max 38.

A New Dimension in Microwave Cooking

Considering its compact dimensions, the new Max packs a powerful punch, with a range of advanced functions and technology for outstanding cooking results.

Whirlpool 3D Microwave Distribution System

This revolutionary system ensures uniform heat circulation through fully three-dimensional microwave distribution. What this means is that your food will always cook evenly and thoroughly throughout, making for a safer and more simple cooking process. It also means the microwave is more efficient with the power that it is using.

Quartz Grill

The Whirlpool Max 38 comes with a quartz grill. This fast, efficient grill uses less energy than a traditional infrared grill, but heats up faster (60 seconds) and cooks 3 times faster, as well as being entirely self-cleaning. Use it on its own or in combination with the microwave for impressive cooking results.
