Tess, Leeds Love to cook
- Good points:
Looks stunning with reflective glass door. Slots into standard 30cm deep cabinet. Cupboard door needs modifying for built in look. No need for ugly venting kit around the edges like some built in microwaves. Solid construction. Timer can be used independently for things like timing boiled eggs on a hob. No problems so far with microwaving and heating food. Good at grilling with crisp plate. DVD demonstrates its uses for baking cakes, biscuits, meals etc.. looks tasty but haven't tried any of the recipies. Apparently, according to the instructions you can fry bacon and eggs in it. The surround appears to be anti fingerprint although this isn't stated anywhere. The fascia and glass door are easy to keep clean with micro fibre cloth. Having a built in microwave frees up valuable space on the worktop. Am really pleased with this oven if only for its looks!
- Bad points:
- Expensive. Costs 3 times as much as same spec freestanding models which are also supplied with a load of accessories. You only get a crisp plate and pan handle with this. My 25cm square plates fit in it but the angled corners prevent them from turning. They only just fitted in my previous much larger microwave. The That's not a fault of the microwave. My plates are the wrong shape! A 26 cm diameter bowl was ok.

The 3D Emission System is an advanced modern technology which delivers best in class cooking results
Fits into 300mm wall units
A full 22 litre capacity with recessed turntable fitting perfectly into a 300mm deep wall unit
A solution for small kitchens
Combining a 22 litre microwave and Quartz grill with a telescopic Cooker Hood this is the ideal product for tight spaces. The minimum height above a gas hob should be 650mm, above an electric hob 500mm.
Special Crisp system
The special crisp system guarantees crispy and even cooking results using 3 heat sources: a ferrite crisp plate, grill and microwaves combine to provide a perfectly finished top and bottom for pies, quiches and pizzas.
Fast and efficient with numerous advantages over a traditional Infrared grill. It uses less energy, but heats up faster (60 seconds) and reaches a higher temperature so it cooks 3 times faster and burns away dirt on its surface, making it entirely self cleaning.
