Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Worked right out of the box, plugged into a spare USB 2 socket on PC with Windows 7, had no real problems so far. Only had a few weeks so cannot comment on reliability long term yet. But have had another Western Digital external hard drive now for 6 years, no problems experienced yet with this.
Bad points:
You have to be aware of the drive powering down if not in use for a little while. Then takes a few seconds to wake up, can be a little anoying when using it as a music / video hub. But then again, this is a power saving feature.

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Does what it says on the tin. Very fast data transfer. I use to backup WD Mybooklive NAS drive to store off site. 2.5 TB copied in less than a day.
Bad points:
Does not work with WD TV live. A few have also commented on this on the web and WD have NOT acknowledged this is an issue. Strange considering both are WD products.

Score 10.0/10
Good points:
The USB 2.0 and 3.0 connectivity, and they are so quiet you don't know they're on. As regards reliability I've had 2 of these drives now for only a couple of months, so it's hard to say. But I also have 500GB and 1TB WD drives that I've had for a couple of years now with no problems and that's why I made this purchase.
Bad points:
None so far.
