Score 5.0/10
Good points:
Wacom produce the best drawing tablets on the market, perfect size
Bad points:
Very expensive for a pad (tablet), that does not have a LCD touch screen, so therefore isn't portable as you need to plug in into a computer to use it, though you can buy a wireless pack to use with it for 50+, more expense.
My overall rating for the product is 5/10 because in order to use it's functions I would have had to load the software into it. This would have ment I couldn't have got the refund when I returned it,

Good points:
Pen is easy to use and accurate.
The touch feature is really useful to navigate around the page when you are drawing.
Quick keys are handy and programmable - I'm still figuring out which short cuts I need on here though!
Bad points:
It is quite expensive - but probably worth it!

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Does everything my previous Intuos 3 did and more. Prefer the feel of the surface and the pen, more paper like than the Intuos 3
Bad points:
The shortcut buttons on the left hand side can be a little difficult to find. Still prefer the touch strip of the Intuos 3 to the touch wheel. Plus its not cheap.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Vast amount of customizable options and configurations, both in terms of the buttons on the tablet as well as full gesture capability. Great finish and build quality. The medium is a perfect size for me personally - not too big so that it fills my desk area, but still remains portable and not so small that i'm constantly clipping the edge of the workable area as i did with my previous tablet (wacom bamboo). Very happy with it so far.
Bad points:
I have a few quibbles with the tablet though. My biggest is the driver for the tablet - seems that with the tablet relatively fresh on the market, bugs are present which need amending by Wacom. Sometimes the 'touch' function of the tablet stops working for no apparent reason? Unplugging and then plugging back in seems to solve it though. Also on occasion if the tablet is unplugged to continue working wirelessly my imac fails to pick up the signal from the receiver. This has only happened once or twice though and i think i pinpointed the cause being that there was a conflict from previous drivers i had installed for both my bamboo and Cintiq. Bottom line is i have NO ISSUES with the hardware at all. Once the driver niggles get ironed out this will undoubtedly speed up my workflow. I'm reaching the point where i dont think i'll need my magic trackpad anymore - the gestures are identical and work brilliantly. Some may note that surface of the working tablet surface is too rough. I am not affected by this and find it a bit more natural to work on than a glass smooth surface.

Manufacturer's Description

Dive into your digital image.
Intuos5. The intuitive way to create. Redefined.

The new Intuos5 may impress with sleek design but it diverts all attention to where creativity comes to life: on screen. Once again this pen tablet will redefine the way creatives work, allowing them to focus entirely on the job at hand.

The Intuos5 is equipped with up to eight ExpressKeys which can be configured individually. Fitted with new haptics they enable you to ‘feel’ the interaction with the computer application and allow you to work even more intuitively. But wait until you have tried the multifunctional Touch Ring – it’s incredibly easy and intuitive to use. It features four programmable functions for every application: for instance scrolling, zooming, brush size, canvas rotation or layer selection. As these can be tailored to your requirements work gets faster and more efficient. You only need to hover your finger over an ExpressKey to review the settings on screen via the Express View display. As a result distraction is minimised – and concentration on your creation maximised.

But it doesn’t stop there, as the Intuos5 Grip Pen with 2,048 pressure levels opens new possibilities for accurate and artistic work. The four different nibs add to the pen-on-paper feel. Additional comfort is provided by the soft-touch surface of the pen tablet. An ergonomic wrist rest makes even longer sessions enjoyable – no matter if you’re left- or right-handed.

Also, the radial menu cuts production time for retouching and design through structured and fast access to shortcuts.

Aside from many new technical innovations the Intuos5 offers even more freedom through the optional Wireless Accessory Kit. So, if you are looking for more efficiency, productivity and precision the new Intuos5 is just the right tool for you.

Intuos5 – for the best creatives in the world.
