Confirmed purchaser Techie Middle-Aged Dad.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Great for gadget-happy kids who want to mimic their parents from a young age, this camera was far better built than I feared it might be with some really great touches (the double view finder so kids don't have to shut one eye, a couple of built-in fun games, the ability to 'snazz-up' taken pictures with frames and stickers, etc). All the electronic pieces have auto-shutting fittings over them to prevent dirt and dust clogging them up and there are no small pieces that might be accidentally swallowed. The bag is useful and the spare snap-on cover handy. The composite TV leads let them see their pictures on the big screen with very little fuss.
Bad points:
The picture quality is low (as advertised) and it's a shame there isn't a way to boost this. You may need to warn friends and child minders that there is a snap-happy child around (just for the sake of avoiding any awkward photo's).

Grat add-ons can make picture taking real fun - given it is aimed at 4 years and above a little too diffulcult for that age range but my 9 year old thinks its great!

Louise, Cheltenham

Score 10.0/10
Good points:
My daughter (aged 6) loves this camera and easily found her way around it and all its different functions without intervention from us. She also really enjoys playing the games on it. This has helped me put off buying a DS a little longer!
Bad points:
I don't have anything bad to say.
