Score 8.0/10
Good points:
- Good value for what it's worth, "you get what you pay for" applies well in this case, but you get a bit more juice out of this in my opinion.
- Typing messages is really fast and intuitive.
- Easy to use, good sized letters and icons
- Very intuitive in terms of menus an figuring out what does what and how to browse it.
- Unlike several internet reviews, pointing out the "hard-to-get" screensaver and how to unlock your phone when it's locked, it's extremely easy, it's all on the screen, self explained, just drag over you finger downwards.
- Simplistic design.
- Good response and calibration of the touch screen, I only ever need to tap it several times when I want to shut down the alarm.
- Good camera for the phone's value, taking pictures up to 1600x1200 resolution.
- Organizer, with alarm, calendar, tasks, calculator, world clock and currency converter (I've owned a phone with no calculator or calendar, making life just a tad more frustrating, so it's always worth pointing it out)
Bad points:
- Lack of features, like facebook and twitter.
- Low quality games, trial versions even, that give you 90 to 120 seconds of play-or-buy-to-get-more. It would be better suited with Snake or Tetris.
- No customization whatsoever, themes, colours, etc (you get to change login/logout and desktop wallpapers, that's it)
- Camera isn't the best (obviously thou, see good points)
- Phone volume is audible and understandable, but overall the maximum volume is still low.

James, Shaftesbury Basic text and chat user

Score 2.0/10
Good points:
One may make calls with it. Sometimes use the 'internet'.
Bad points:
The phone is too small, the outer is too shiny and smooth so that it slips out of ones hand, the answer or cancel buttons can be easily pressed when getting it out of ones pocket/bag to answer it, the 'screenlock' is very annoying, the programming/settings is not logical - too many 'confirm's'/too long-winded/some basic features omitted/hard to find, screen layout is too basic (ZX-81?!), the tones are terrible and not designed to be heard easily, the message writing - dictionary is impossible to add new words, the auto complete is too quirky and double-spaces everything. Music - 1000's of music files are in there, but the 'player' doesn't play them unless they are on a 'playlist' and hasn't located the music under 'music' so only one song can be played at a time, there is no audio output (mini jack). .......Basically it is too wrong to warrant any worth, buy another or keep your basic nokia.
