Also known as: Trek Madone 2.1 road
Madone is race-bike royalty. This incredible frame combines a super-aero shape with a phenomenally light, stiff ride feel that wins on any terrain.
Our KVF (Kammtail Virtual Foil) aero frame design provides an incredible additional 25 watts of free power with no additional effort. The OCLV Carbon frame provides unprecedented integration that allows us to shed weight and increase stiffness, making the Madone the fastest road bike in the world.
Trek’s premium alloy, formed into sophisticated tube shapes for maximum strength and minimum weight.
H2 features a slightly higher head tube to put less strain on your back and neck. It’s the right way to get most riders, including many of our Pro Team riders, in the right place. With no need for high-rise stems or spacer stacks, the look is nothing but pro.
Our slippery fork features KVF aero legs to minimise drag, while the unique moulded carbon dropouts reduce weight. The new fork also increases lateral stiffness for ultra-precise handling.
Our E2 head tube tapers from a 1.5" lower bearing to a 1-1/8" upper bearing, and is wider side to side than front to back. This asymmetric steering system minimises weight while maximising power transfer and keeping the fork stiffer under cornering loads. Result: a more powerful and confident ride.
Wide, stiff press-fit bottom bracket improves pedalling performance for exhilarating acceleration.
Trek’s performance cable routing is highly engineered for unshakable precision and the real-world performance that comes from better compatibility with current drivetrains. Optimal routing through the frame provides flawless shifting, better braking, sleeker aerodynamics, and easier assembly and maintenance.
The new pinnacle of gear shifting performance.
SpeedTrap seamlessly integrates the computer sensor into the fork to measure speed and distance with no added aerodynamic drag.
Mudguard mounts allow for full-coverage mudguards so you can ride comfortably in less-than-ideal conditions.
