Good points:
Fantastic performance, can handle most modern games on medium settings.
Great value for money.
Huge screen great for TV and games.
All the software included is top notch.
Bad points:
Possibly size although I doubt you will be buying this laptop for its portability.
Battery life isn't very good but again this isn't a "take everywhere" sort of laptop.
Not exactly a designer laptop but performance>looks in my opinion.

Score 3.0/10
Good points:
It's a Toshiba!

The full size keyboard includes a seperate numberpad for those who do a lot of number entry and is reasonably comfortable to type on. The trackpad is responsive. The laptop has an excellent clear screen with dedicated video memory (rather than relying on shared system resources as some do) and runs at a resolution that gives some very usable desktop real-estate to work with. A card reader slot is very handy for those that work with media from other devices such as cameras.

The combination of a Core i5 and (factory upgraded) 6GB RAM makes short work of many office, network and development tasks which, as an IT Manager who buys a lot of Toshiba units, is why I specified it.
Bad points:
Build quality seems not as good as previous Toshiba models I've had - for instance, the DVD tray feels very flimsy and fragile.

Reliabilty is poor. This is the second unit I've had in two months. The first had a French AZERTY keyboard - despite being boxed as a UK model - and this second one has had two replacement keyboards already and currently needs a third. Possibly this could be down to the build quality not being as good as it could be, but I suspect my laptop is a "friday afternoon" unit and as such it's going back as I've had enough.

One gripe I do have irrespective of build quality and reliability was that the laptop was pre-installed with an excessive amount of "bloatware" when it arrived. While this was dealt with by loading on our corporate Windows 7 image, not everyone will have this option and would need to waste a significant amount of time removing it if so desired.

Good points:
Compares with others in the same price bracket, no outstanding features, useful work horse.
Bad points:
Illumination on-off switch needed as opposed to present, light bank would be of better use on the laptop rather than on the
front of the unit,
