Score 7.0/10
Good points:
GOOD PERFORMANCE AND LOOKS. SATISFIED WITH MACHINE OVERALL.
Bad points:
POWER POINT AT SIDE OF MACHINE WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER AT BACK FOR USEABILITY(DEPENDING UPON WHERE THE MACHINE SITS ON YOUR DESK). THE SCREEN IS SET LOWER THAN OTHER MACHINES I HAVE OWNED (SAME BRAND). THIS MEANS HAVING TO RAISE THE MACHINE HIGHER TO AVOID CRANING MY NECK TO LOOK AT THE SCREEN. THAT IS WHY I HAVE GIVEN IT A SCORE OF 5 OUT OF 10 FOR DESIGN AS I BOUGHT IT INSTEAD OF A DESK TOP. I WILL CONSIDER A LAPTOP STAND!

Anne, Northwich Business user

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
I am very pleased with the machine, which is easy to use and feels good. I am a self-employed editor and writer, and use it mainly for desktop publishing and for historical research. The wide screen is invaluable for allowing me to have two documents, maps or facing pages, open side by side.
Bad points:
I don't like the way the cables come out of the side rather than out of the back. When I am using the mouse to create a map, for instance, I find that I can hit the power cable with it. I also don't like the positioning of the cursor which does not insert where you rationally expect it to go when editing text.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
The quality of the machine is very good, it is a very solid machine.
Bad points:
The only problem we have is the AC adapter mains side into the power adapter is hit and miss, every time you use the mains adapter lead, you have to seperate the lead and power adapter and re fit together as the pins are not always making.
If possible can this be changed, as it can be a problem when watching a film, not knowing the main adapter is not given any power.
