Good points:
This laptop has a very large screen which is what I was looking for, large 500Gb hard drive is ample but for good measure additional SATA hard drive bay is available and ready to accept an additional drive.

Nice large key board is positive, quality and finish are excellent, gloss black finish and high quality sound and grapgics and 4Gb RAM make this a great laptop. Intel i5 Core M460 is fast with Turbo boost.
Bad points:
Sound, Music, and DVD Touch controls on left side are easily operated while typing which can be a tad annoying.

Good points:
The Toshiba brand is one to be trusted and this PC is no different. The picture quality is very good and the sound is also good considering the size of speakers you can fit into a laptop. The stereo imaging is very good which is great for gaming as well as music reproduction. Overall another winner from Toshiba.
Bad points:
There isn't a lot to crib about really. One day battery technology could well improve enough to allow us all to use any laptop with the processor working flat out for a minimum of an eight hour day and the weight will come down to just a few hundred grams. Until then this machine is about as good as you get for the money in terms of build quality and performance.

Good points:
Excellent graphics with HD compatibility. Large 18.4" Screen. Great speaker system, 3D enhancement is a massive plus. Excellent picture quality on web cam. Fast machine. Excellent battery life much better than previuous Toshibas. Nice shiny black design.
Bad points:
An issue I have is when typing I can sometimes accidently hit the volume keys which is located to the left of the keypad. Solution would be a switch to disable these touch keys. Its a big laptop thats quite heavy. Still quite pricey. The casing smears very easily and has that greasy look from finger prints.

Good points:
Like the gloss look and feel of this laptop. Boots up quick and the face recognition works very well, even in poor lighting conditions. The touch media buttons are well placed making it easy to + or - the volume. I like the feature of being able to zoom in and out of images/windows using the touchpad, which is virtually invisible.
Bad points:
Overall, this is not the laptop is you are planning on using it on battery alone, for me that isn't a problem as I keep the power cable in. If you want to travel with it, buy a netbook or laptop with a longer battery life! Have not had this laptop long, however and very pleased with it.
