Very poor wifi connectivity as compared to my old Dell or apple laptops. Also very bulky and sometimes the typing displays with a time lag which is very disconcerting.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
I'm not an expert, so this is from a home/work PC perspective, but this laptop seems a very good purchase. Here's a couple of my thoughts on it (hope they help someone else in their decision making!)
* At XXX it seems excellent value for money in terms of spec vs. other laptops of similar price, with a very fast run speed and plenty of memory / disk space.
* Battery life runs very well; longest I've gone is about 3 hrs just using it for typing.
* Windows 7 takes a little getting used to if you've been stuck on XP for a long time, but actually ends up more user friendly overall.
* The mouse pad is particularly good, with options for zoom and page scrolling.
* Numerical keypad... not always included on laptops, but very handy if you use it for spreadsheets etc..
* Webcam is excellent quality
Bad points:
Three main gripes, largely on socket design (fussy I know, but it does irritate!)
1) Only 3 USB ports, which is a little limiting, and they're all on the sides so if you run a mini-mouse like I do, the connection gets in the way of mouse space.
2) Power connector is right next to the DVD drive, so ejecting discs get in the way of the cables all the time... very frustrating layout!
3) The pre-installed software. Some of it is useful, some of it is annoying, and it would be better if you could pick and chose what you'd like rather than have to go through and delete anything you don't want.
