Good points:
Fantastic i5-M480 CPU. Compiling and building an application on my previous dual core Dell Latitude used to take >2 minutes. On the L670 it's around 30 seconds. Multitasking is superb. Incredibly responsive applications.

RAM is upgradable to 8GB - which I'll be doing shortly, sadly the current RAM is in a 2x2GB configuration, so I'll be having 4 spare. 4GB is a good base for Windows 7 x64 though.

Display is gorgeous - LED screen is vibrant. 17.3" in 1600x900 is luxurious.

Keyboard is fullsize, and very tactile. Good spring to the keys. Almost identical to a proper QWERTY.

The graphics card is very good - although I didn't buy this machine for gaming with 1GB of dedicated RAM and upto around 4GB with HyperMemory it should handle most things.

I like the design, but I didn't buy it for the design.

It's quiet.

A button to switch off the touchpad - great if you use a mouse and the laptop keyboard.

Face recognition on webcam - if you're into gadgets this one's quite impressive. You can login simply by having the cam recognise your face.

Summary: It's a fantastic machine in all honesty. Couple of minor niggles but none I wasn't already aware of from the specifications.
Bad points:
HDD is only 5400 RPM and thus not the fastest (Will be shoving a 128GB SSD in there ASAP).

Cram-packed with Toshiba utilities which, whilst useful, are extremely bloaty.

Battery life is not very good (to be expected with a desktop replacement), but if it had switchable graphics (which I believe the CPU supports) so you dropped to an onboard card rather than the powerhouse Radeon when on battery that would be greatly improved. Although you can buy a replacement extended 12 cell battery (which I'm planning on doing - and knew when I bought the machine anyway).

The bevel around the screen is a little flimsy, but that doesn't concern me.

Score 10.0/10
Good points:
Performance For Office Applications, Desktop Publishing & Graphics Applications is excellent.
Handles Latest Games Very Well - Able to play latest titles at high resolution with highest detail settings, no slow down.
Screen size & clarity is fantastic for graphics apps and multiple windows.
Very comfortable to use and the full keyboard with numeric pad makes life easy.
HDMI & ESATA very useful.
Great having built-in webcam and mic for skype and conferencing. Picture and sound is awesome.
Bluray is a bonus
Bad points:
Only 2 USB ports & both on right side so external mouse can be tricky especially when using a USB flash drive aswell.
Also headphone socket is on the right in the same area as the USB ports, can get very busy around there.
Although the patterned black gloss finish is nice to look at it does constantly show finger marks and attracts a lot of dust. The finish also scratches easily on the edges.
