Good points:
I have not really spent a lot of time using it yet, it seems to be ok just like other computer's. It takes a lot of time to get to learn how to use which is off putting. This computer is no bettter or worse than any other computer ive ever used. ITS only a machine after all and as sure as eggs are eggs it will break down.

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Very good keyboard, comfortable and sensitive touch.

Appreciate the compact design and rigid case, also the light weight.
Bad points:
1. Function keys switched to alternative settings. Long-term Windows user, I often use combos such as ALT+F4. Took a while to dig out the setting to change this.

2. Touch pad ceased to work after a few hours. Numerous remedies in response to search enquiry, but they didn't work. Eventually got on to Toshiba assist, the buttons on it didn't do what they said, but managed to download new Touchpad driver. Problem solved.

3. Windows 8.1 a bit intimidating at first, big improvement on 8.0 which I refused to have. Have customised it to work for me.

4. So much documentation is buried in the computer or on-line. But then you don't know it's there and in any case can't get to it, until you've solved the 8.1 issues. Some more appropriate Quick Start Guide needs to be enclosed with the machine.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
I have only had the laptop a couple of weeks and I am finding my way around it.
Bad points:
I would have thought there would have been an operating booklet with the lap- top. I may have to purchase a book on system 8 called ''Dummies for the old'' or whatever it is called. Being an ex-typesetter in the printing industry I feel the keys should be at a slight angle, eg the rear of each key pad should be slightly higher than the front. Does the key pad require to be so far forward? I accidentally put my hand on the space below the space bar and copy disappeared.
