Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Excellent 120Hz screen, 2nd most powerful Intel dual core CPU (not including Sandy Bridge CPUs) and excellent Nvidia graphics card, GTS 350M. Combined with the 1366x768 screen, capable of playing most modern titles without problems (although quality settings may need to be reduced).
More sturdy feeling than my A660, which is a similar design. Keyboard very comfortable to type on, and backlight very useful. Good selection of ports, but would prefer some on the back edge, especially when using laptop on a desk.
Bad points:
Battery life quite poor - typically less than one hour when gaming, less than 2 hours when browsing. Eco-mode extends this, but turns off many features and greatly dims screen. 12-cell battery is available, and a worthwhile upgrade, but expensive at the moment. I do feel the supplied battery means this laptop is more suited to desktop use, than portability. For example, my Dell XPS L502x (with a 9 cell battery) lasts about 6 hours when browsing.

Score 6.0/10
Good points:
The screen is sharp, set up was surprisingly easy and it has a nice eco feature. 3D is very good. Speed is impressive. Sound quality is good for a laptop. Backlit keyboard is useful when travelling
Bad points:
I don't like the keyboard, my old IBM laptop was streets ahead. It's spongy and being off-centre is off putting. Who needs a separate numeric keypad on a laptop? I also don't like the touchpad which is vague and over complex. I have resorted to a mouse. The face recognition system is just a joke. It doesn't work. USB3 would have been useful for me - I do a lot of file transfers.
