Good points:
small long battery life
Bad points:
very slow to use, the worst support service I have ever come across - this has now been echoed by some friend who have also had Toshiba laptops. Didnt seem concerned with problems as it wasnt their problem - not at all concerned their graphics drivers didnt work, and were not at all bothered it might ruin my Daughter Christmas.

The only reason it was sorted was due to my Brother being an IT manager who had to contact AMD direct.

The only non Dell or Apple I have ever purchased I will not make this mistake again.

Good points:
I like the design, the keyboard is excellent and the display is bright and sharp. The "charge on standby" USB is extremely useful for charging a mobile etc. The power saving works very well and it's better to simply shut the lid than log out of Win7 and then go through the extended re-boot time.
Bad points:
Power hungry Win7 means that it really needs more than the standard 1Mb of RAM. If there was a Linux option instead of MS I would have preferred that, Windows is a horror.I spent half an hour or more uninstalling unwanted software including BBC iPlayer desktop, MSOffice etc.

Lastly the emergency reboot file won't fit on an 8Gb memory stick as it is about 0.2Gb too big.

Could do with Larger Memory however it is cheap and easy to upgrade.
Windows 7 SE is absolutely rubbish not Toshibas fault but they could ship with home premium.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Battery life - have done nearly 9 hours in one go; size, weight & mobility; good graphics; excellent speakers - great for listening to music/internet audio and better than old but much more expensive sony vaio I had for 7 years. Excellent for general browsing, emails etc. I like rubber effect of the lid which gives it a more rugged feel. Also I doubled the memory which made a big difference to the performance. Pleased it has HDMI link too.
Bad points:
Video is okay but what you'd expect at this price. Not a lot of contrast and can feel a bit bluey and cold. Keyboards a little spongy and cramped but you get used to it.
