Score 7.0/10
Good points:
The keyboard works well. Some keys are fitted into odd positions but you soon get used to this.
The screen has a gloss surface, gives a clear display, but being small will need a bit more scrolling than usual round web pages.
The battery life is good, disconnecting any USB peripherals and turning the wifi off gives a reading of over 8 hours on the system tray battery indicator. The trackpad is pleasant to use.
Bad points:
It took half a day updating Windows 7!
Too much Toshiba software is pre-installed!

Andrius , London, UK Music, gaming or video fan

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
small & light enough to carry all day long;
comfortable keyboard layout;
great screen brightness;
nice attractive design;
long battery life.
Bad points:
1.8 GHz Processor and 2 Gb of RAM should be the MINIMUM essentials for a netbook;
the speaker is so terrible that it makes me wonder why would Toshiba even consider it;
it is only the software that keeps the integrated microphone function at the MINIMUM quality level;
the speaker and the microphone are the biggest disappointment, and I would definitely have second thoughts buying this model again or recommend it to a friend.

Score 5.0/10
Good points:
Size and robust feel. Very clear screen. Good touch on the keypad.
Bad points:
Slow in operation, particularly at start-up.. Windows 7 starter is very disappointing - no DVD playback, no wallpaper and expensive upgrade to Home Premium etc.
