Deb, London

Score 5.0/10
Good points:
Once you get the hang of it, it's quite easy to use. I like the fact that you can stop a DVD for some time and come back to it and it's in the same place, like a video. It's easy to FF or RW through at a maximum x 128 speed while you see what's on the screen.
Bad points:
There are two main things. The first is that the sound is sometimes fine, but other times it comes & goes, so you can't turn it up because it would be too loud when it suddenly gets better, so you have to have it turned down but sometimes it's difficult to hear. The other thing is that I have not had much success with recording to video and DVD simultaneously - the manual says you can do so if you start them at different times, but I have found that it screws up the timing and you often get half of one thing and part of another; so I tend not to set them both as I don't trust it.
