Mark, Film lover

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
This is a brilliant blu-ray from Toshiba who were not "inventors" of blu-ray but HD players and in competition with Sony but Sony "won" as we all know and now HD is nowhere to be seen. this player is excellent though even though they did lose out to Sony. the picture quality is amazing even on non-blu-ray discs it's still excellent and ironically I have a Sony TV and together it is amazing. It is compact and neat or perhaps too small and compact. I highly recommend this.
Bad points:
As I said in the good points it is compact and very light which could make it too light and compact and not seem substantial it does not weigh anything really but the overall use does not affect the picture quality. It does have "grinding" noise when it's switched on and on reading the disc but quietens down when playing.

Monica, Lakenheath Bargain hunter

Score 10.0/10
Good points:
It is easy to use and having both DVD/Video recorder is useful space wise. The picture with blue ray is clear and has a sharp picture. My only problem I am having is that some of my old videos are not playing to good but other than that I would recommend this product highly.
Bad points:
Old videos have a problem sometimes when playing it could be the high definition sid e of things that is causing the problem.
