Delivering stunning High Definition image quality the W4 series features built-in Freeview, internet content and catch-up TV services including YouTube, BBC iPlayer and Netflix that are easily accessed thanks to built-in WiFi. You can also get access to a range of other online content from Facebook, Twitter, Skype and a Web Browser all through Toshiba’s Smart TV service. The added convenience of smartphone & tablet remote control operation, USB Recording and Intel WiDi compatibility is also included. All this accessed via your TV at the touch of a button.
High Definition Image Quality
The W4 series TVs support a High Definition 720p resolution, allowing you to experience more from your favourite movies and TV shows. Images will appear crisper and more detailed, allowing you to take your enjoyment to the next level. A HD ready TV will be able to display a High Definition feed from any HD source, such as a Blu-ray player, media streamer, subscription TV box or gaming console.
LED Technology
The W4 series also includes an advanced backlighting system that guarantees new levels of picture clarity by constantly adapting to the images on the screen. Colours are made more vibrant and contrast between light and dark is more pronounced, providing dramatically improved performance, whilst overall energy consumption and the thickness of the TV is also reduced. Response times are also much quicker than conventional CCFL LCD TVs, so fast moving image quality is improved.

Built-in WiFi and DLNA
Built-in Wi-Fi allows you to wirelessly connect your TV to the internet, with DLNA technology giving you access to content stored on compatible laptops or other digital devices over your home network. DLNA allows you to stream multimedia content including music, video and images to be enjoyed on your TV.
Access to Online Entertainment Content
Toshiba’s Smart TV service gives you access to various online content. Catch up on your favourite shows on BBC iPlayer, favourite videos on YouTube or on-demand movies from Netflix. All this and more can be accessed via this TV when connected to your home network.
Web Browser and Skype Ready
You can talk with friends and family on the big screen with this TV. A Skype camera is required (sold separately) and easily connects to the TV via USB. There’s even a built in web browser so you can surf some of your favourite websites on the TV.
