Score 8.0/10
Good points:
It's a mid range smart TV with full HD and Freeview HD decoder. The picture quality is about right for the money and the on-screen menues are straight forward.
Bad points:
The fact that you have to buy a toshiba wifi dongle, which is not included as standard is infuriating. The dongle costs £30 (minimum) so factor that in when comparing prices, as most smart tv's have the wifi unit built in. You cannot use a cheap (£3-4) wifi dongle, you have to uyse the tosh unit I'm afraid.

Tony, Film and documentary lover

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Good image quality, access to home network and USB input. Generally very happy with the TV.
Bad points:
Only one USB socket, which is likely to be required for network adapter, meaning that you must disconnect from your network to access images/video from other USB sources. Factory set up too bright and garish and required some fiddling to get acceptable colour and brightness. Manual provided is minimum required to set up only, you need to download the 72 page manual, which is hard to thumb through on-line - big printing job! Marketing from most vendors refers to recording to HDD or USB, but nothing in the large manual refers to how to do this - record button only appears to work with REGZA-Linked devices. Software/firmware upgrade from USB is supposed to be possible according to some marketing blurb, but this does not appear to be available and although the Toshiba site says there is a later version of the firmware, the upgrade through broadcast or web does not acknowledge this.

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Good picture, narrow frame. Quite easy to set up.
Bad points:
Remote control is "different" from ones I was used to. It has "lots" of buttons. Similarly, the channel guide takes a bit of getting used to. I haven't yet tried some of the features, such as recording to an external hard drive.
