Score 10.0/10
Good points:
This is my first Macro lense and for the price I found it produces very good quality images and is very easy to use. The focus mechanism is very smooth and precise and you can get the camera as close as an inch from your subject for the best possible detail.
As this is my first macro lense I cannot rate it against any others, but from my experience this has been a great lense for me to experiment with macro photography and I have produced some very good photographs. All I need now is Adobe Photoshop to make my images look more professional.
So for anybody not wanting to fill up their credit card on a top range macro lense then this one is for you.
10/10.

Miquel, Barcelona (Spain) Underwater photographer

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Perfect for all-purpose underwater photography: Attached to an APS-C sensor format SLR it works as a 50mm lens, which allows shooting medium sized subjects, something difficult with other lenses.
Sturdy and fast is a very good choice.
Bad points:
A bit too heavy.
In macro mode (underwater use) it forces you to get too close to subject and, deppending on the housing, it will not reach the 1:1 factor.
