Peter, Southampton

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Sturdy, simple, protects boat, works well.

It's a good idea to buy the front/rear tie down straps as well.
Bad points:
None so far, just a bit bulky to store. Also a good idea to put something through the carrier whilst you're on the water to prevent it "getting lost"

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Easy to fit, I'm using the bars for a Ocean Kayak Trident Prowler 15 which is a large wide and heavy Kayak. Like anything from Thule it's well designed and does the job well.
Bad points:
Not really a bad point, straps could do with being longer.

Reviewer left no comment
Bad points:
The plastic mounting feet of these carrier brackets are too weak. Mine failed on the M6 motorway at 62 mph releasing the Kayak and causing extensive damage to the roof of my vehicle. The Kayak was well within the maximum weight specified. This was only the second occasion that they had been used.
