Good points:
I bought this as a replacement for my Sharps Topup TV box which had gone. I did not have great hopes of it because it was bought knowing it was a refurbished box,. So far it has been brilliant and everything has worked perfectly, however, the main challenge for me is how long will it last as this must be at least the tenth digital box I have got through.

Bad points:
None so far but the proof ot the pudding is how long it lasts!

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Easy plug-and-play out the box. Simple but functional / intuitive Sky-type remote control. Good quality display and menus. Can record 2 channels at once, unlike many that could and now can't after the digital broadcast system was changed. Very small box compared to most.
Bad points:
Needs a fair signal or can crash, like so many other DTB boxes, but once it has one works very well. Prog guide is not good (non-proportionate display). Top-Up-TV information keeps appearing, even if you don't use it. You can't set extended record time and expect it to record the next prog on the same channel - it might miss the second one. It can loose all your planned recordings if you change some of the recording settings. You have to set a delay time before the info comes up in the prog guide - you can't use the 'info' button as in the recorded/planned prog library.

Good points:
Did not have it long enough to find any good points.
Bad points:
After having a digital recorder that had one touch recording, easy TV guide and easy to operate, I found this one very complicated to use on the recording. Also the TV guide was not easy to use or to look at programmes later in the day. When the channel was highlighted, if you used the arrow key to forward it, it went to all the other channels first before it would forward to the next programme on the highlighted channel. If this is your first recorder, you proabably would not notice these faults, but after having one that was extremely easy to use, I fould this one very complicated and time consuming. After only 2 day's viewing, it went wrong. Could not get a picture as it said there was no signal but when the aerial was plugged in to the TV, I got a picture but not on the recorder so what can I say?
