Good points:
Glass shelving look to be of good quality. A compact design to shelve a 40 inch LCD TV. Easy to assemble, though is quite heavy.
Bad points:
OK, OK, do we really all read the dimensions when we buy such items. I bought a 40" LCD TV so thought a 42 inch premium TV stand from Tesco would be the job. Sadly not.
Firstly, build quality: The glass is heavy and looks to be good quality (careful when lifting). Three of the four screws to secure the main legs worked, the fourth (worryingly) seemed to stay loose. Fingers crossed it holds.
The brushed metal legs are OK quailty, but the caps fit very loosely and are only held in place by said leg screws. The cable tidy is next to useless as it's just a screeen to route cables through. More work needed to be "tidy".
Secondly, size: Please check your kit dimensions, as I found all my AV equipment did NOT fit onto shelves. Basic Sky box (not SKy+ or Sky HD which are bigger) was too big with cables attached. My standard-size DVD+VCR+HDD (think basic VCR size unit) overhangs by a third with cables attached.
Upshot is the unit looks OK until you put AV kit on. In practical terms, other than a shelf for the TV, it doesn't do the job and I'd suggest look elsewhere and potentially pay a little more. The unit I bought was pricey even after discount.

Good points:
Really lovely piece of furniture and looks amazing with my new 42" plasma. It was very easy to assemble by one person with care as it's glass. Easy instructions. Saw same item for double the price at Harvey Norman and materials the same only black pillars. Excellent value for money. I used my vouchers and got it for nothing really.
Bad points:
There was a nut missing but I replaced it with one of my own. Was a bit apprehensive tightening nuts in fear of cracking glass. The pillars are made from a very light material. Needs a lot of dusting daily!
