Score 7.0/10
Good points:
Bought for my daughter bedroom. Ideal product and can record TV but only the channel you are watching. Good clear picture. She is very happy with TV and DVD and love being able to record her own TV.
Bad points:
USB Stick can only record 2 hours, pointless. Have bought 250Gb hard drive. Sometime TV Guide does not update and therefore make recording difficult. Takes a while to power up.

Louise, Norwich Multi-purpose viewer

Score 7.0/10
Good points:
1. Easy to use PVR functions on the supplied 4gb usb stick.
2. The seven day Guide shows 7 channels at a time along with the programme info and you can still hear (and partly see) the programme in the background.
3. The Now and Next banner can be scrolled to get info for other channels.
4. Proper On/Off switch on back.
5. Clear, easy to understand menus.
6. Buttons on top of TV are easy to see.
7. All sockets are on the side (better for wall mounting).
8. Remote is well laid out.
9. There is a dedicated website for support/user guides/firmware etc. at www.skymediauk.co.uk.
Bad points:
1. Awful tinny sound - even my six year old daughter said it was bad.
2. Writing on Now and Next banner and Guide is clear but too small.
3. Subtitles cannot be set to come on automatically when TV is turned on.
4. No progress bar on Now and Next banner or timeline on Guide.
5. Noisy sound from DVD area when turning TV on (can be made quieter by leaving a disc in).
6. The stand is awkward to fit and holds TV at an upward tilt which is not adjustable.
7. Bottom corners of remote are too prominent, making it a bit uncomfortable to hold.
8. DVD set-up menu looks like it was designed by a bored child.

Good points:
Value for money is fantastic
Nice looking tv
Ability to record is great - supplied USB pen drive too although I use an external USB hard drive - both very easy
Bad points:
Sound is pretty rubbish - ok for casual watching though
Record facility while worth having seems to cut off the end of most programmes!
Channel change is s..l...o...w...
