Mark,

Score 1.0/10
Good points:
Reviewer left no comment
Bad points:
The wifi range is poor

the remote will power the device off but not on,

youtube doesn't work,

itv player is not supported,

sky go isnt supported,

didn't get 4OD working,

iplayer apps dont work correctly (launches iplayer site rather than the app working)

wont accept an sd card which works in other android devices and a pc

I am so so disappointed as I really really wanted this device to work as it did absolutely everything that I wanted but it has fallen so so short of expectations.

I should note that I was running the most recent version of android and all apps were up to date at time of writing.

Score 3.0/10
Good points:
When it works it works brilliantly. Remote interface is great.
Bad points:
Media interface is shocking and you can't point to a network location
Can't get network or Internet through rj45 for some reason
Tv dongle works but epg and interface is shocking
Software can't find the micro ad card, but the update app can see it.
Needs all wireless bandwidth so maybe install a second (n) access point. Overall this said it could do exactly what I needed, it does not work out of the box and a month on I'm still fighting with it. I registered on line and was told support would be emailed to me but it has not. Don't be fooled, you are on your own.

Dan,

Score 4.0/10
Good points:
Cheapish way into xbmc if it worked, small size
Bad points:
Xbmc not currently working properly on android and official pivos Linux M3 xbmc is now locked to pivos Xios ds M3 only. There are unlocked ones available but they don't work correctly and dont want to play nicely when using advancedsettings.xml.
Poor air mouse / keyboard.
Currently the only properly working basic xbmc set up is RASPBMC for the raspberry pi, if xbmc is what you want then avoid this unit at least for now.

Good points:
Excellent features, great having android on the big telly. The device streams 4OD, iplayer and most other steaming websites. The mouse/remote is really cool with a WII like control for mouse movement. It’s a great gadget.
Bad points:
Processor a bit slow, some things can take a while to happen

Jim, Giffnock Frustrated customer

Score 7.0/10
Good points:
Was bought mainly to play music from external drive through surround sound system. Delivered beyond expectations with facilities it offered.

Used for internet browsing and performed as well as expected with crystal clear pictures on a 48" screen.

Dare say it has a lot more to offer that either I have not tried or figured out yet.
Bad points:
User guide is so bad that you need to work things out for yourself.
Ethernet connection needs to be set every time it is switched on.
Wireless mouse took a bit of getting used to , but won me over.

Still unable to figure out how to browse pictures from a non android camera or external drive. Can only see one screen.

Biggest problem I had was that the unit supplied only had 2gb of flash memory , when 4gb expected. Replacement unit has exact same problem and solution awaited.
