Good points:
Good looking, long battery life, we have ordered 3 of these for work and everyone is happy with them, except for 1 user. See Bad Points.
Bad points:
Sadly we had one of these laptops with a "power cycle" issue. Where it would no longer turn on, after sending it back to sony 3 times with the same issue, every time having the motherboard replaced we finally managed to get sony to issue a replacement rather than a fix. However I have no waited 3 weeks and the replacement has not even been shipped out. Sorry sony, but your customer service is terrible, and the laptop issue was still never fixed.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
So far it is a lovely machine. Very light but robust. Nice to use. I like the lit up back keys and the spacey feel to the keyboard. Elegant looking too. Really good machine for mobile use.
Bad points:
I guess it's one weakness is the battery life. It's not awful, but definitely not as long lasting as it says on the tin!

Michael, edinburgh Often on the move

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Beautiful design, useful ports and very nice keyboard. With the extra battery and WiFi off you can squeeze 14hrs out of it - which is bloody impressive. The internal battery alone is not quite so impressive, so I'd definitely recommend the additional expenditure.
Bad points:
Appalling speakers & very disappointing how much Sony clog your machine with so much junk which is very difficult to remove that the machine can begin to slow to a crawl with a few moderately sized programmes open. What should be an untamable beast of computing power is cowed all too easily & becomes incredibly glitchy. Blue screens of death are far, far too common. The lack of i-link (firewire) and audio in is also rather lamentable at this price
