Good points:
I like the way it can be opened wth one hand, no need to hold on to the base when lifting the top. The web-only feature is very useful. it is fast to boot up and to close down. lovely design and easy to handle. It is a quality machine - It works!
Bad points:
the media card slots are a bit fiddly to use. It took a while to find out how to open the DVD drawer.

Ivan,

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Good aesthetics. Lightweight. Improved battery life but doesn't quite live up to its spec sheets. Solid built. Reliable brand
Bad points:
Fan noise can be a bit loudy depending on activity. Poor quality speakers considering its price. Screen resolution not the best. I expected more considering its price tag and sony brand name. Overall still happy with purchase.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
This is a very nicely designed laptop. It has an uncanny resemblance to an Apple Mac, which is no bad thing as it is very stylish. It is solidly built and sleek. It has a very good clear and sharp screen with a matt (or silk) finish which is preferable over the more common reflective finish. It has one of the best, scrabble key like, keyboards I have used. Large, well spaced keys that are nicely responsive.
With a dedicated graphics card, which can be switched off for performance, the laptops's graphics performance is very good. The laptop comes with configuration utilities which provide a range of performance, speed, and noise options (fan speed) which make it very flexible and comfortable to use.
It has a very good range of full size ports including a USB 3 and HDMI.
Bad points:
The finish, especially on the lid, is a bit plasticky and cheap and scratched easily. When paying this much for a laptop you would expect a higher grade of materials.
It comes with a fingerprint reader which I find can take a few attempts to recognise my prints, but I suspect this could be more of a problem with my prints than the reader. The software for the reader often crashes when being used by browsers and this seems to be a common problem for users.
As I often use the laptop at home, plugged into external keyboard, mouse and monitor; it would be good if the fingerprint reader was on the outside of the unit so that the lid could be closed. All other necessary ports are on the outside.

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Great lightweight design. Fantastic keyboard. Superior enhancments over manufacturers.
Bad points:
No dedicated graphics. Could handle games a little better. SSD storage should come as standard. Fingerprint scaner location compromises use of buttons. Poor multitouch performance on the trackpad. Would be good toops have more gestures, e.g. 2 finger scroll etc..
