Score 7.0/10
Good points:
The laptop is excellent quality.
Screen is very clear and bright.
The loaded software (Vaio gate) is brilliant.
Nicely designed with good styling.
Bad points:
Keyboard is flimsy when you're typing on it.
There are no volume buttons without using FN + F3/F4!! Why??
My last Vaio came with Adobe Standard 8 and Roxio which appears to be no longer bundled.
Fan whines
Does not connect using 5Ghz 'N' wireless!!!!

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Clear keyboard
Bad points:
I can't get the battery to 100% charge - I understand why it only charges to 80% normally but how do I get it to charge fully when needed?

Still not sure about offset touchpad and buttons

Some of the software is on 30 day trial, on my last Sony I got full versions of some of the stuff.

Jia, London General home user

Score 7.0/10
Good points:
A relatively fast CPU; 1080p HD LED screen; Blu-ray drive
Bad points:
Heavy weight; NO SUPPORT for drivers under Windows 8: this model is equipped with dual Intel/AMD graphics cards. But after upgrade to Windows 8 only Intel card can be used because Sony doesn't care to provide up-to-date drivers any more. -- HORRIBLE service.

Score 6.0/10
Good points:
Appears to be well made. Keyboard has good feel. Performance is good for general use and photo editing.
Bad points:
Cost more than competition. This is OK if it is more reliable but it is too soon to know if this is the case.
ASSIST feature did not work when laptop was installed but program download suggested by tech support fixed problem.
