Good points:
Looks really good and sounds great. The touch screen is fast and works well with windows 8. The processor is an older version but I haven't noticed any speed issues or processing problems. For banking, emails and internet games it is a great computer for a great price.
Bad points:
Nothing to do with the Sony but Windows 8 is a step change, once you get used to the new system it's fine.

Good points:
Windows 8 takes a bit of getting used to if you haven't used it before, but it all adds to the learning process.
The battery life isn't amazing, but it's enough to get what I want done.
Bad points:
Might just be me but I prefer to use a mouse instead of the touch screen. Using The mouse pad you have to press the pad hard to select something on the screen.

Score 5.0/10
Good points:
Slick ergonomics, nice feel, touch screen is a must for win 8 which makes this device very nice to use. Screen clarity great.
Bad points:
why oh why sell a dual core processor and slow 5,400 rpm hard disk these days. The disk is slow, and the dual core processor just isn;t enough! Install the Rapport software that many banks insist upon, and Norton, and it's like towing a house with a mini. Shame, because otherwise the unit is great!

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
The styling is excellent, the keyboard seems much more solid than my other Vaio (bought 6 months ago). This was purchased for my daughter who thinks its fantastic, loves the touchscreen that seems to work well for her. Processing speed and start up is great and although it is thin it seems well built and robust.
Bad points:
I can''t get the hang of windows 8 and i'm not sure i will be sticking with McAfee security once the 30 days is up, i prefer AVG. But this is software and i guess is personal opinion and what you are used to - can't actually fault the hardware
