high resolution
Bad points:
battery life could be better
res too high for the desktop mode to use fingers - so bring on more metro apps, they work like a dream

Score 4.0/10
Good points:
Screen is the top notch. Colors are brilliant, images razor sharp and HD video seems better than it is on big screen tv.
Bad points:
One word to describe it is 'disappointment'. Way too bulky to be any good as a tablet and way to small to be any good a laptop. The design, the way keyboard and its size is a disaster. Flip up screen mechanism is flimsy and when open has way too much movement in it. The keys don't depress properly or fail to register that you have pressed them. I now know why so many people are selling these on Ebay after only using them for a few weeks.

The apps crash out quite often. The LinkedIn one gets stuck all the time, and I have been thrown out of apps quite often.

Confirmed purchase: 12 Jun 2013

Rich, Rotherham Business user

Score 7.0/10
Good points:
it has all the convenience and portability of a tablet (sort of) but the power of a high spec laptop

great screen (vivid, 1080)

look and design of machine is great the slide mechanism works really well

keyboard : good spacing of keys, good tactile feedback, back lit (nice touch)

whilst the screen is touch sensitive you get a little track nipple (similar to the days of IBM think pad) useful when you need click on something that you finger is too chunky for, (most time if your on the desktop)
Bad points:
!!!!THIS REFURB ITEM DOESN'T COME WITH THE STYLUS!!!!

exact words from customer support, "it doesn't state on the website it comes with the stylus"

my reply it doesn't state it comes with a power supply but it did?

anyway the product.......

its a little on the heavy side not easy to use like a tablet as it weighs quite a bit, unless you cradle it under your arm like a new born. not the sort of thing you can curl up on the settee and browse the web with.

the screen is great however such high resolution on such a small screen means the text can be too small to read, its similar to viewing a web page on your mobile phone, you can do it but why would you?

its not as portable as a tablet due to its power consumption and its weight and you can't detach the keyboard, its not as functional as a laptop, no optical drive, few usb slots, no track pad, no numeric key pad, so its some where between a rock and hard place, my advise if you want a tablet buy a tablet, if want to buy a laptop buy a laptop, if you want something between buy a surface.....(tablet with dock able keyboard.)

SDD hard drive by the time sony have finished putting in 5 partitions you are only left with 70gig of drive out of 128gb may sound like loads for a tablet but is shocking for a laptop.
