Bad points:
We had some big problems with this camera, to the extent that we have now sold it and bought a Canon XF300.

Where to start, the focusing seemd haphazard to say the least. Autofocus seems to go for what was bright in an image rather than what was closest, so we ended up with footage that was soft.

There was also a problem with the back focus drifting. Zoom in sharpen up and pull back out again, the image went out of focus. Admittedly this was a fault that the service people fixed, but you just don`t expect it on a new camera.

The way the camera reacted to light was a but strange too. Even on dull days, all the whites or skin tones were over bright whereas the back ground seemed perfectly exposed. Worse still it didn`t also show it accurately in the fold out screen. We managed to sort this out by using the ND filters, but you normally don`t expect to use them on overcast days.

Even when "in focus", the image was always slightly soft, certainly when compared to the Canon.

Some of the controls weren`t great either. The IAF button is tiny, and sometime you`re not sure whether you`re hitting it or not. For the run and gun work we do having easy to use, accessible IAF, and auto/manual iris buttons is vital.

So on the whole, not happy.

Quality of the bad slow motion, and quality of recording in mode(fashion) automobile not trés satisfying, embellish with images fuzziness(vagueness) when we make a slightly too fast panoramic view.
