Great sound, nice design, compact.
Bad points:
Instructions too complicated, one speaker faulty from new,
WIFI not compatible with other WIFI systems, only way to get it to go is to use ETHERNET,
Menu setup is very complex and not user friendly, you have to be computer literate to use.

Rob, Wolverhampton Bargain hunter

Score 6.0/10
Good points:
Hard drive is a good facility for storage of albums. All my music is now stored on the machine so no more discs cluttering up the living room.
The ability to have the music in another room is very useful. Radio reception is very good.
The machine is compact.
Bad points:
I found the machine quite difficult to set up. I don't think the instuctions in the handbook are not very clear. I am unable to link to the internet. I contacted Sony UK but we unable to make the link. I was told that it may be my wireless router at fault.
I have a number of CD albums with no title and therefor imposible to find. Conection to the internet may help.
I cannot find a facility for radio in another room. We use the radio a lot and this would be very useful.

Andy, Aylesbury Gadget lover

Score 10.0/10
Good points:
I love the system. So much that I've bought another NAS-C5E. The XDJ is a real bonus. I didn't think that I'd use it, but now it's on most of the time! It find tracks that you haven't played for years and you're bound to like them because after all you bought it in the first place. A great piece of kit, soon every hi-fi will be like this.
Bad points:
It's a pity the NAS-C5E units can't pick up the DAB from the main unit. It took me ages to work out that I could network the whole system off the computer modem/router. Internet Radio is OK, but it doesn't pick up the BBC.
