andthenxio, Fermanagh Audiophile

Score 4.0/10
Good points:
Sound is punchy and accurate.
No chord noise
Accessories were a nice touch
Bad points:
Cable is much to short on the lanyard (designed for an armband) So you won't be able to rest your mp3 even in a coat pocket.
-note: no earclip system so these are unsuitable for running etc.
Extension adds another 80cm bringing the cable now down to below most peoples shins... when in truth extension should have been about 20cm longer.
Too deep an earpiece means they will rub against hats, and you won't be able to rest your head against anything.
because the chord is either too long or too short there is constant stress on the left earpiece and will often be pulled from your ear.
too many design flaws kill what are great sounding buds. Try soundmagics pl11's for punch and design.

Thomas, Music lover

Score 10.0/10
Good points:
Sound quality is excellent.Comes with 3 sizes of rubber tips to suit different ear sizes. Headphone cable is a short one to fit inline remote controls, but with an extension cable. There is also a small plastic flat spindle that you can wrap the long extension around to make it shorter. Comes with a solid feeling storage case.

Manufacturer's Description

Experience pristine audio quality with the MDR-EX300 earbud style headphones. Offering crisp audio to the perceptive ear, these high-quality earbuds allow a recognizable separation among musical instruments. The key technology is the closed-type, vertical in-the-ear 13.5mm driver unit, which allows for a larger driver with substantial sound while maintaining a comfortable and secure in-ear fit over a long period of time. The hybrid silicone earbuds consist of two kinds of silicone to help block noise by creating a close seal with the ear. Three sizes of ear cushions and a handy carrying case are also included.
