Score 9.0/10
Good points:
This TV's wireless design is a God send, so I don't know why they have cancelled tis model, I got the last on in Northern Ireland (and Ireland for that matter). The sleek look is fab up on the wall and it is very simple to set up, picture is sharp and crisp and sound is OK for TV standards (this will be sorted when I get my onkyo HTX-22HDX). Remote first of all looks confusing but once you get used to it, it is fine. I have tested the wireless signal from between my living room and bedroom upstairs at it worked well (is about 15m through both stone and stud walls).
Bad points:
Only bad point this TV has is no 1080p and no 3D but I'm sure s o n y will incorporate this into tellys in 2011/12

John, Farnham Surrey Multi-purpose viewer

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Attractive design, slim profile that is unobtrusive. Was initially concerned, having previously had a 28" CRT set, that this 40" screen would be huge in its wall mounted position. Became accustomed to it very quickly and could have accommodated a 46" set.

Menu is easy to navigate and the slide show facility, along with the pre-programmed images, is a good way to use the set when not watching a programme.
Bad points:
Marked slightly negatively on the picture quality, but think that is more to do with location where the signal occasionally drops and the image pixellates, or is sometimes a little fuzzy.

The sound quality lacks bottom end of the register, but I tend to listen via my Hi Fi (not Sony, but high quality nonetheless). The only negative with that is the tiny lack of synchronisation between audio & visual, which I understand is the consequence of using two different brands.

William, Cambridge Multi-purpose viewer

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
great picture, great looks, has certainly proved a talking point.
Bad points:
Perhaps a little over complex. I still have difficulty using text facilities and when using alternative signal souces (ie non terrestrial) it is to easy to inadertantly change input port using the sattelite controller and having to find another controller to revert to HDMI. My wife finds this particularly frustrating. The instruction book is also a little obscure. Finding out what I can and cannot do can be time consuming.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
It looks like a picture on the wall in a nice frame. Very pin sharp picture to watch in HDMI. No blurring of colours.
Wireless connection absolutely brilliant. Works really well from a PC, I can even use it as a monitor.
Bad points:
Surely Sony can get better sound from it. I can't find a surround sound in white to
match its colour.
