Score 8.0/10
Good points:
lots of inputs. wonderfully sharp, high contrast picture within sweet spot, especially with HD source material.
Bad points:
poor viewing angle. colours soon appear washed out after moving your head even a little bit either side of sweet spot. OS is clunky to navigate not up-gradable to enjoy Skype and presumably other future internet-based bells & whistles.

Good points:
Great TV and being able to use iplayer from net connexion is good
Bad points:
no back button to previously watched channel is a bad retrograde step over our previous sony [using programme timer very often cuts you off too soon !] and on our last sony we could run our own pics from usb stick when using radio channels, quite dissapointed we can't do this anymore

Harry, Gravesend Occasional TV watcher

Score 7.0/10
Good points:
With lots of legacy equipment I like the 2 scart sockets. Overall impression is that I really like this TV. The layout of the connections on the back and side is excellent. The picture is v good in HD.
Bad points:
The remote! The inner circle and outer circle of buttons are too close. It really frustrating when, say, trying to scroll down to actually hit the 'Home' button instead.

Instructions on how to set it up with other HDMI devices so one remote controls all could be clearer - had to go to the Sony store to understand that

Reaction time of the TV to the remote could be quicker.

The Internet selection is rather limited where's ITV player for example?

S, Birmingham High spec fanatic

Score 7.0/10
Good points:
Good picture quality on vivid setup. However on standard setting the picture quality is only average.
Bad points:
The sound quality is very poor on low volume and sounds like a laptop computer. The base is very poor even at the maximun setting. No WIFi built in the TV. The WIFI dongle is expensive. Narrow viewing angle.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Freeview HD included. Pleasing visual design. Superb picture quality when sat dead centre. Motionflow system avoids 'blur' .
Bad points:
Picture washes out very quickly if you move off centre so poor viewing angles.
Remote Control can be slightly awkward to use.
USB port doesnt 'output' so cant use to pause/ record live TV.
