- Good points:
- I bought it to go with an underwater housing and tend only to use video for such. This camera is such an improvement on my last one, also a digital but not HD. Even just reviewing via the camcorder's screen I can tell the results are far superior. Very easy to get to grips with the controls. The stills camera also takes good images underwater too. The battery life of the battery that came with the camcorder is not great for my usage as when using underwater the camcorder tends to be on standby a lot (which would not be the case taking topside shots). Very pleased.
- Bad points:
- The battery life of the battery that came with the camcorder is not great for my usage, as when using underwater the camcorder tends to be on standby a lot (which would not be the case taking topside shots). I bought a larger battery and found that I could do two dives with the replacement, whereas I couldn't guarantee more than one dive (depending on usage) on the one that comes with the camcorder. As previously indicated though, the battery is probably more than sufficient for everyday topside use where you would turn the camera off between shots.
