Richard, Cambridge Keen amateur

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Fits in the hand really well and most controls are within easy reach. The low light setting is a good function. Picture quality is excellent on movie setting.
Bad points:
zoom 'lever' takes some getting used to and could be improved to give a smoother functioning.

When light is poor e.g. in a dimly lit room with only a few widely spaced lights, the auto focus can struggle to find a sufficently strong light source to function properly.

Picture quality for still photos is surprisingly poor given excellent quality of movies.

The microphone cannot handle high volume situations e.g. rock music in small venues. Maybe develop a seperate plug in microphone capable of handling such volumes or like the low light intensity switch, have an internal mechanism to allow adjustment for high volumes to avoid distortion.

Good points:
Super Nightshot! Par excellence!
Bad points:
Non-compatibility with Apple products. It is about time the manufacturer became more universal in their product as many people prefer not to use the more corruptable Windows operating systems.
