Good points:
My arc is a great phone and i find it very easy to use. i'll be honest when i first had my phone it did lag but once i performed an update it worked fine. its lovelly and slim and it fits in my jeans pocket.

To keep up to date on whats going on in the android world and se arc i read drippler xperia(its a free app) that give me tips and i use the se pc companion for phone update.

currently i have 32gb in my arc and it an absolute joy to watch videos and listen to music. one last thing, i do own a great pair of headphones so music sounds wonderful from my phone.
Bad points:
battery life is not that great but i do watch a lot of videos, listen to music, play games and the wifi is always on so its understandable that i have to charge my phone twice a day. :)

Good points:
Light, easy to use and very good battery life. Of course, this depends on getting a little creative with the settings but that is true of any smartphone. Very good Gingerbread phone.
Bad points:
The single core processor sometimes stalls when multi-tasking or when using process-heavy apps. However, this behaviour is few and far between.

Good points:
Well, Its only my 2nd android phone and its better . to start with , i like the look of it , confortable design and a very decent qwerty keyboard . battery life is around 24 hrs if one plays games and listens to musics 8 hrs at a stretch. Timescape interface is good , and camera is excellent . the graphics are amazing and playing games couldnt even be better . Also you can play on a 3-D tv screen so gaming experience is amazing . for processing , i believe it is not as fast as Galaxy , but faster than the Iphone 4s and motorola phones in the market. Serves all the purposes that i bought it for .
Bad points:
could have been a bit faster .

Good, pleasant design, Gingerbread finally, and Flash videos are working on a SE smartphone.
Bad points:
Reliability!!! Stay away from this brand like the plague! They are unable to make a smartphone that actually works!
During the 2 1/2 weeks I had the Xperia Arc, I had a repeat of all the problems I had with the 11 malfunctionning Xperia X10 out of 12 we had in this family of 3.

I counted at least 7 problems:
- From the first day on, the screen repeatedly froze, impeding me from ending phone calls.
- The phone would just regularly hang up on my caller, already 3 times on the first day, without me even holding it, so this was not me hitting the wrong button.
- It was unable to send SMS longer than one SMS unit, and that length was never up to the 160 characters limit, but could be anything from 3 characters, or 5, or 20, etc, after which seemingly random number of characters, the phone would just show the message as "impossible to send" after a few minutes of trying.
- The sound would cut during phone calls.
- Bluetooth would stop working during phonecalls, and it was impossible to switch to another mode. Had to hang up and call back. It made such a good impression with customers.
- I had to reinstall my Jawbone many times, as the phone would stop connecting to it after a few days or a few hours.
- From the onset, the GPS was repeatedly loosing its signal (within a large agglomeration), and finally stopped working altogether.

Since I had had so many problems with its predecessor, the Xperia X10 (a confirmed lemon, according to my serviceprovider), and this phone was an exchange or free upgrade after a nightmarish bout with quite a few of SE's Xperia X10, I just changed to another make. With this phone having at least 7 problems from the start, I really was not up to going through another serie of failed refurbished or new SE exchange phones.

SE itself was of no help, they just played the ostrich game, like I was the first in the whole world with any of these problems.
Exept for a miracle hitting SE, and it seems they would need something big, or me being stranded on a desert island in a bad survival situation, there is no way I am ever going back to them for the rest of my life.

I am still shuddering from this nightmare, and I (figuratively, though sometimes I wonder...) have almost no hair left back on my head, from all the despaired pulling, trying to get some real help and a phone that would actually simply work.

Caveat empteor! All that shines does not necessarily actually work! ;-)
