Good points:
I am happy with my web cam. Its easy to use and gives good quality.
Bad points:
It is large in size. I cannot use it with my WINDOWS 7 PC to transfer. I find it most irritating. No sony manual says how to connect to my PC using iLink cable.

Good points:
MY SONY TRV 265 IS AROUND 8 YEARS OLD (WHEN .THEY FIRST CAME OUT IN THE UK).
THE QUALITY OF IMAGE OF A 0.5 MP STILL, AND RELATED VIDEO QUALITY (LONG BEFORE HD (640 X 480?), ARE INCREDIBLE. FOR HOME &/OR ART PROJECT (AMATEUR) VIDEOS, EXTREMELY VERSATILE
WHETHER IT'S THE LENS,PIXEL SYSTEM, DV TAPES (SHAME THEY NEVER BECAME POPULAR), OR THE SONY BUILD, THOUGH LARGE, IS TOUGHER THAN THAN THE HULK
i HAVE TAKEN IT ABROAD MULTPLE TIMES, UP HILLS & DOWN DALES, DROPPED IT, CHILD-PROOFED IT, & THOUGH SOMETIMES NOW A LITTLE TEMPORAMENTAL, STILL WORKS. IN FACT, STILL A GREAT CAMERA FOR SOME PROJECTS.
I REALISE SONY HAVE COME A LONG WAY SINCE THEN, BUT THAT PLUS AN OLDER (WORKING) CAM, FROM A SECOND-HAND SHOP FOR £2.50 ( AND VERY GOOD), CONVINCE ME THAT SONY, NOT OVERLY EXPENSIVE, ARE THE ONLY CAM I WOULD CONSIDER.
Bad points:
CONSIDERING IT WAS SMALLER THAN MOST CAMS AT THE TIME (A LTTLE LARGE TODAY) & THAT HD TECHNOLOGY & HARD DRIVES WERE TO COME , I WOULD BE BEING PITHY, MOANING.
