I love the weight and that it's made out of aluminium. It is the best point and shoot camera I've ever had. Photo quality is excellent.

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
I purchased the DSC-W290T because I travel a lot and needed something small to fit my handbag that also had a wide-angled lens. I've been really pleased with the quality of the images, even large landscapes come out really sharp when blown up to large images and I love the video facility. It's easy to use and the macro lens is a bonus. I bought my daughter one for Xmas - she loves it.
Bad points:
The 'shoot' button is not conveniently placed for taking 'portrait' sized photographs - I have to fumble a bit after selecting the shot, which can take a little time.
