Good points:
Brilliant 7 times zoom and the the Panoramic feature.
Bad points:
Sony use either Leica or Carl Zeiss lens but here they have used their own sony brand which is ok but nothing compared to the other image quality i have seen in the older cybershot! It is not all about the large number megapixels as this camera proves!

I love the panoramic shots option. I recently holidayed in the US and I nipped over the border to see Niagara Falls and managed to get some great shots. The camera is small light and easy to use. Great picture quality

Zden, Stowmarket Keen amateur

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Easy to carry in pocket, sleek design and a lovely camera to use.
I recommend a small zipped hard case to avoid scratching LCD screen. Also use camera wrist cord regularly for safety.

6 shooting modes, including 10 Scene modes,HD video,Program &
Intelligent Auto modes, an Easy mode and sweep Panorama.
Also has a decent 7 optical zoom lens
In any mode, pressing menu button, gives access to changing settings easily, with on board help functions.
Easy review of photos with trim facility and with familiarity function selection becomes easier.
Bad points:
Handle camera with care in pocket as sometimes fingers can accidently depress start button allowing zoom lens to shoot out in
a confined space causing damage.Hence the need for a case.

The camera that thinks its a camcorder

Left your camcorder behind? Don’t worry: now you can capture crisp, clear HD movie clips at an incredible 30 frames per second for smooth, clear action. Watch the results on your BRAVIA television: you’ll be amazed by the quality, detail and colour.
Get closer to your subject

A high-quality Optical Zoom lens gets closer to the action, letting you fill more of the frame with distant subjects. Unlike digital zoom, youll get uncompromised image quality at all settings even high magnifications.
Upload the moment

Upload those memories to your favourite sharing sites on the web with a few mouse clicks. PMB Portable software inside the camera lets you select and transfer photos and video clips to any web-connected PC: its great if youre travelling and have a few minutes to drop into the nearest web caf.
Better looking pictures made easy

Not sure how to pick the perfect camera settings to suit a particular scene? Dont worry, help is at hand. Intelligent Auto (iAUTO) mode automatically adjusts exposure and other camera settings for optimum results in a wide range of shooting situations.
Small and light enough to take anywhere

Your camera fits easily into a pocket or bag. With less size and weight to carry, youre always ready to catch that special moment, wherever you are and whatever youre doing.
