Good points:
V.Fast auto focus, great tracking AF feature. Excellent new 20MP gives a nice extra touch of detail over previous Sony 16MP sensor used in A57 and Nex-6 (I own a Nex-6 with a LA-EA2 adapter, so I am able to compare like for like using the same glass).

Noise levels at high ISO are again very similar to the Nex-6, which are more than competitive against competition. (check out DPReview)

Cheap! Super Cheap! Got mine new (with kit lens) from main UK internet retailer for less than £300!! Amazing value, nothing comes close for the money.

Excellent grip, very comfy in the hand.

A really good quality EVF. A nice improvement over the A57's LCD EVF, now with a bright 1.44m OLED type. It's not that far from my Nex-6's 2.3m EVF to be fair, which is an outstanding view finder. However, if you have to have an OVF in your DSLR/T, then this is a mute point!
Bad points:
Kit lens is OK to get you started, although like most kit lenses it's fairly soft around the edges, especially at wide open apertures.
I recommend investing in a good quality standard zoom to get the best out of the camera. I have a Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 (Tamron also do a great 17-50mm f2.8 standard zoom) and it really does that new sensor justice.
2.7" 460K screen is a regressive step, the should have left it with the standard 3" 921K screen.
"Plastic" lens mount. Doesn't phase me really, it's a very tough composite material, not at all soft or weak looking. Lens locking part of mechanism is still made from metal. It might still be a show stopper for some though.
Poor buffer size, fills up quite quickly when on burst mode. Five FPS is OK against it's peers, however quite a drop from the A57, which also had a much bigger buffer. It can't be just down to a 4MP increase in image size, must have been a cost cutting done by Sony to reduce the buffer.

Good points:
The Stabilisation is great for taking pictures in your hands, all images come out crystal clear, almost impossible to get any camera shake in pictures. The 1080p HD videos are impeccable!
Bad points:
It can be quite difficult finding the setting you want on the camera because everything on the screen looks quite scattered, but thats the only bad point though.
