Good points:
Fast lens with fantastic image quality. Produces sharp images and outstanding value for money against another 50mm professional lens on the market.
Bad points:
Lens cap is tricky to get on when the hood is on. I often find it's fallen off in my bag as I gmhavent clipped IT on correctly.

Good points:
Great lens and large amount of glass. Reassuringly heavy, speedy autofocus, F1.4 fast aperture, and great Bokeh (despite what some say). Nice packaging, comes complete with petal lens hood which is really well made, and quality case to store it in when not in use. Could come with a lens filter for price but have purchased one anyhow.
Bad points:
Some may find it heavy but I like the weight. Is slightly pricey but it is designed to be cheaper than the Canon 50mm F1.2 which it is. Is a large lens and I have some telephoto lens's which are smaller! My main gripe is the SIGMA lens dock which allows you to calebrate the lens using a USB cable and a computer. Many will not use this but the techie users will probably love this feature. My constructive suggestion is if I have spent nearly £700 on the lens, then I should at least be able to buy the lens dock post free. Right now I intend to buy one but not if I have to pay postage! A point of principle but nevertheless one I feel strongly about.
