Sigma 120-300mm f/2.8 EX DG OS HSM – Nikon AF
This top-of-the range EX-Series Telephoto Zoom lens has been digitally optimised and will work equally well on digital or film SLR cameras. It uses state of the art glass technology, along with optical image stabilisation and ultra-fast and quiet focusing components.
The optical image stabiliser on this 120-300mm lens gives the equivalent of 4 stops faster shutter speeds, making hand held telephoto shooting possible. It also has normal and panning modes, so that you can still get effective stabilisation while following for example a motor race without jerky actions.
This lens includes one SLD (Super Low Dispersion) and two FLD (Fluorite Low Dispersion) lenses for excellent correction of chromatic aberration and for image quality comparable to a prime lens. Sagittal coma flare is also greatly reduced. Finally, the Super Multi-Layer Coating helps your images retain their vitality and contrast levels by cutting out internal flare and ghosting effects.
Inner Focus and Inner Zooming
You can focus and zoom with no rotation or change to the length of the lens, allowing for much easier handling, especially when using filters. The Hyper Sonic Motor with Full Time Manual Focus override also means that you get ultra fast, ultra quiet focusing when required and instant manual override when you need to take control.
