Ideal for shallower depth of field images, this lens is top “EX” quality, both in its construction an its technology, with its floating inner focus design.

This lens gives the equivalent of 4 extra stops in aperture, allowing you to continue shooting in much dimmer conditions.
Top Optical Components
This 105mm EX lens uses SLD (Super Low Dispersion) Glass to correct chromatic aberration, spherical aberration and field curvature, thus producing sharp images with faithful colours and flatness of field. The Super Multi Layer Coating ensures that internal reflections are reduced considerably and your images retain excellent contrast. A Floating Inner Focus design is employed for consistency of image quality throughout the zoom range. In addition the use of optional APO converters gives you a bigger than 1:1 magnification ratio for highly magnified closeup work.
