Score 1.0/10
Good points:
The phone itself works OK, but doesn’t seem noticeably better to me than a much cheaper BT one that my mother has.
Bad points:
The worst purchase that I have ever made. The problem is that it isn’t compatible with the equipment supplied by my (major UK) broadband provider – an issue that Siemens are aware of, but don’t warn you about. The result is that the phone destabilised my broadband connection down to one twentieth of its previous speed making it practically unusable. Siemens technical support don’t know the answer and don’t seem to care. Over 4 months later, numerous emails and 2 letters to their German head office I still have the problems and Siemens have wiped their hands of it and stopped answering my emails and letters – not the support I expected! My advice is to avoid Siemens Gigaset – you really don’t need the hassle, and if anything goes wrong you are on your own.

Score 7.0/10
Good points:
Clear display, easy to setup, facility to transfer phonebook to other handsets albeit one phone at a time. Got a really good price for the trio.
Bad points:
After reading some good reviews, not very impressed with sound clarity, it's OK but a bit fuzzy and distorted compared with a much older DBTEL phone, especially handsfree on a loudness setting of more than 3 - this may be due to what feels like an insubstantial plasticky construction. Signal drops quite a bit if there are solid walls between phone and the base unit. More was expected of a Siemens product.

Confirmed purchase: 08 Dec 2012

Geoff, Northern Ireland Basic home user

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Bought this to replace my old B.T hand set, have seen some reviews saying that it was hard to set up due to a limited instruction manual, did not find this to be so.Phone is quite self explanatory and the text messaging feature comes in handy.Voices sound clear and it looks more expensive than it was. I consider this to be one of my better on line purchases.
Bad points:
None worth mentioning.
