Score 10.0/10
Good points:
This TV has an amazing picture with a standard def. feed. When its HD/Blu Ray feed it is even better. I know some customers have said that the sound is not great. I personally have no issue with the sound which i found to be more than good enough. I have not had any need to increase the sound level above about 22 and i think it goes up to 50! This is a great TV with a fantastic picture. LED is the way forward (if you are not going 3D)

Jonathan, London Multi-purpose viewer

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Excellent TV with fantastic picture quality. Nice solid build and it looks great too. While it's not as slim as some of the LED models out there, it does have full LED backlighting whereas most of the other models are only LEDs on the side. The preset options are also really handy, and I like how they change according to input i.e. each time I watch a DVD it will automatically change the picture mode to Movie when it automatically switches to the DVD. The Game mode is good for PS3 as well as my PC, which is the other great thing - I use this TV as my PC monitor and speakers, and it is phenomenal!!! The promotion I got with the TV was also good - cashback and extended warranty :)
Bad points:
Apparently you can get even more from it by fine tuning the picture - however I have not yet worked out how to reliably do this and therefore have concluded its too complicated. As above, the pre-set picture modes are excellent, so I am not bothered really. Therefore, 1 minor niggle, which someone with more patience and preparedness to read the manual in full would be able to overcome, so all in all this is a fantastic TV!

TV Buyers Guide

Manufacturer's Description

Sharp Full Screen LED backlight TVs have hundreds of LEDs arranged in rows to cover the entire screen, from corner to corner. The colours are brighter and more vibrant whilst the blacks are deeper resulting in more fine details in darker pictures. The new X-GEN panel with its wider pixel aperture design allows for visually brighter images whilst the Brilliant Colour Processor helps the precise expression of colours. The LE700 range also feature 100Hz technology and a high-speed 4 millisecond response rate to reduce blur and recreate natural flowing images. Complete with USB input for JPEG or MP3 playback and 4 HDMI inputs for easy multimedia connectivity.

All this is contained within an environmentally conscious design with an ECO button, Low Power Consumption, Mercury free and an intelligent ECO Picture Control built in.
